Port Authorities Training Batch 3

After successfully carry out the Port Authority Training Batch 2 in March-April 2011, CCMR- IPB in cooperation with DG-Sea Transportation, GIZ and bremenports Germany, carry out training again for the Batch 3 on Port Authority Training. This training was held at Wisma Tugu Ministry of Transportation from May 30 - June 10, 2011,
which was opened by the Secretary of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Ministry of Transportation Mr. Kemal Heryandri, Dipl. HE
This training followed by 30 participants coming from the Directorate General of Sea Transportation from central office (planning division, the Directorate of Ports and Dredging and Directorate of SeaTraffic ) and the staff from four Port Authorities office at (Office of the Port Authority of Tg. Priok, Jakarta, Tg. Perak-Surabaya, Belawan and Makasar). In this training, participants receive learning materials as follows:

Besides getting lectures from the trainer, participants also trained to solve problems in the field and their office by case study.
Besides that, the participant was fieldtrip to the Dry Port Jababeka Cikarang, from the fieldtrip participants is expected to open new paradigm.
After going through an intensive series of training activities from early morning at 08.00until 21:00, at the end of this training was officially closed by the Head of Personnel Section, Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Ministry of Transportation (Capt. Karolus Sangaji). In his speech Mr. Karolus express great appreciation of the participants, trainers and organizers this training because it has been carry out successfully, especially to the participants he was very proud because the participants were able to complete case study verry well and able to provide recommendations for development of Port Authority.
