Strengthening Technical Training on Monitoring and Evaluation of Coastal Areas, Small Islands, Borders and Certain Areas
The training is conducted at the initiative and cooperation of the Directorate of Coastal Areas, Small Islands, Borders and Certain Areas, National Land Agency (WP3WT BPN RI) and the Center for Coastal and Marine Resources Studies, Bogor Agricultural University (CCMRS-IPB).
The training is designed as a continuation of strengthening training activities of technical and management of coastal areas, small islands, borders and certain areas was held on 05-07 July 2011 at the Hall Office of Directorate of Coastal Areas, Small Islands, Borders and Certain Areas, National Land Agency (WP3WT BPN RI) in Jakarta.
Strengthening technical training on monitoring and evaluation of coastal areas, small islands, borders and certain areas are intended to harmonize the same understanding of the system of monitoring and evaluation of policies and implementation agrarian governance in the context of integrated management of coastal areas and small islands. The training objectives are: (i) provide a thorough understanding of the dynamic space planning evaluation and analysis of environmental risks in coastal zones and small islands, and (ii) provide a thorough understanding of the approach and principles of monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the governance of ownership, control, utilization and land use in the context of integrated management of coastal areas and small islands.
Strengthening technical training on monitoring and evaluation of coastal areas and small islands, borders and certain regions are followed by all leaders and staffs of the Directorate of Coastal Areas, Small Islands, Borders and Certain Areas, National Land Agency coupled with a number of prospective employees of National Land Agency who do internships in the environment of Directorate of Coastal Areas, Small Islands, Borders and Certain Areas, National Land Agency. There are 3 (three) main groups of materials given in this training, namely: (i) an understanding of the dynamics of space in coastal areas, (ii) understanding of environmental risk analysis, and (iii) understanding the dynamics of monitoring and evaluation based on integrated coastal management.
